Crash Damaging Pole Causes Road Closure In Stamford

Motorists should take note that a roadway in Stamford remains closed Monday morning following a traffic crash that damaged a power pole, according to Stamford Police.

Power company employees are replacing the pole on Pepper Ridge at Vine Road that was smashed during the crash around 8 p.m. Sunday, police said.

Police said Pepper Ridge Road will remain closed until the repairs are complete, and did not have an exact time estimate.

Officers did not have information on the crash, or if anyone was injured.
